We really liked this resort, the one time we stayed there, in June of ‘12…!!!
We stayed in 2 Cars family suites (at one point, there were 13 of us on the trip ), and it was shortly after that section opened.
I was a CM at the time, so had a 60% resort discount.
When we wanted to book there again for our summer of ‘13 trip, prices had gone way up, and CM discounts were blacked out.
We ended staying at ASMusic in family suites, still with my 60% CM discount.
AoA was cool, but it wasn’t $$$$$ cool…!!!!!

Yes, the AoA prices skyrocketed especially since the Skyliner was built. We often eat over there and take their busses especially when Pop is super busy.

We loved the food court when we stayed there in ‘12. At the time, they had a menu item that I had at least twice (maybe 3 times…? ) called the “Surf & Surf Burger”.
It was a crab cake with fried shrimp on top, between a toasted bun, with a spicy sauce, and it was delicious…!!!!!
Unfortunately, I have not seen it on the menu for many years.

Oh, I would have loved that! I'm a 'Marylander' who spent many years eating hard shell crabs, fishing with crab pots and enjoying crab cakes. When we go back to visit from Colorado we eat crabs every chance we get.

Yes, it was delicious…!!!!!
There is almost no seafood I won’t eat…crab, lobster, shrimp, scallops, oysters, tuna, flounder, etc., etc., etc.
I haven’t been crabbing in years. We did it from time to time when we lived in No Cal back in the day. We have plenty of blue crab here in Texas from the gulf, and I do also enjoy a good soft shell crab dish…!!!
I have even been known, from time to time , to pick up a can of crab claw meat at the grocery store and just eat it straight outta’ the can…sooo good…!!!!!

Yes, it was delicious…!!!!!
There is almost no seafood I won’t eat…crab, lobster, shrimp, scallops, oysters, tuna, flounder, etc., etc., etc.
I haven’t been crabbing in years. We did it from time to time when we lived in No Cal back in the day. We have plenty of blue crab here in Texas from the gulf, and I do also enjoy a good soft shell crab dish…!!!

Living in coastal SC we have the same seafood back about 20 years ago I developed a seafood deadly allergy to shrimp, crab and lobster. Back when my boys were young we would catch blue crabs and shrimp and eat at least once a week. I really miss eating blue crabs and shrimp--- allergies suck!!!!!!

What an allergy to develop! Once in Maine I helped cook and then ate two whole lobsters fresh from the water. Next day I was miserable which we finally figured out was probably due to too much iodine! No problems since if I watch how much I eat...

DH and son are the ones on the balcony! Loved staying there! It was during the only time we actually bought a Disney package (MVMCP) and saved some money.
