Resort Parking Fee

I just completed online check-in for my stay at Riverside. Was expecting to see a question as
to having a car or not ..... there was none. My situation is WDW is the last stop on my trip
and I will be arriving in a rental car. I plan to return the car to the Car Care Center that same
day. Does Disney "assume" because I arrived by car and not DME that the daily parking fee
is to be charged?

At other hotels, parking fees are discussed at the Front Desk at check-in. With Disney's online check-in
there seems to be a hole in the process.

This is handled as you enter through resort security at each hotel.

Stop by the front desk before heading to your room. If your returning your car that day and not parking at the resort overnight then you will not be charged the parking fee.

You should always go to the front desk. You don't technically have to, but it's always a good idea.
