Resort Mugs

We are going to Disney next week and I was wondering of anyone that's been recently can tell me if the resort mugs have changed from the beach theme mugs? They've had these a while now, so I wasn't sure if there were plans to change them soon.

For Christmas we filled some of our extras with candy and gave them to my DD's teachers. They thought this was cool but I still have more. I wish they had LTM mugs this year.

I won't hold my breathe but my kingdom for a resort mug! I still have and use my old WL, POR and 20 year old Caribbean Beach mugs. I don't mind purchasing a good, decently sized resort mug. The ones they have now I am 3/4 finished with by the time I get back to my room.

Thanks for all the replies. I don't mind the beach theme one, I just wish it was something different. Anywhoo, I guess we'll get getting more while we're there.

I like it visually considering how when we think of resorts and hotels, the pool is the first thing that comes to mind. I do think, however, many of us would like to have different and distinctive mug designs for each resort hotel like having sports in the All-Star Sports mugs or maybe having a savannah and wildlife themed look for the Animal Kingdom Lodge mugs. It would be a nice incentive for mug collectors to go to all the resorts.

Don't get me started on the mugs! I am so annoyed that they still have the stupid "beach" theme resort mugs! Come on now Disney, a frequeny guest like myself can only have so many of the same stinking mug!!! I am so really for a new design! No lie I have 3 in every darn color!! UGH!

I agree! I have way too many, in every color! They fall out of my cabinet! Since I am staying in a villa at AKL this trip and will have the kitchenette, I am probably going to just bring coffee and make it in the room each morning and forgo the mugs this trip (my third trip this year lol)
