This is a great place. My wife and I took the kids to the Sandcastle club and we went to the Crews Cup for a few drinks. It did get a little busy after a while, but still a nice place to relax! We are suckers for the Crews Cup in the yacht club. Very quiet, relaxed low lighting atmosphere that's ideal for the end of a long day.
Mad hatter check out Bob on YouTube and I think you would find a new respect for him. At Riverside he does a wonderful show one that you expect to find at Disney, well I found a video of Bob(Bob Jackson)and , black Tux, classic music.I do like Riverside ( When Bobs having a night off ) ..I know he's got a huge fan following, especially with kids, and I appreciate his talents on the ivories, but he reminds me of Elton John on speed....
This would be the perfect bar for me to have a nightcap. But the operating hours make it look like that won't be possibleI enjoy the Muddy River Pool Bar on Ol' Man Island at Riverside.
OMG.......Trust me...My music taste ranges from Country to Prog Rock to Classical...I think Bob is a great entertainer and can play his piano for fun...However his show reminds me of British holiday camp entertainment ( Hi - De - Hi ) and no way can I sit thro his show..Unless I'am blootered ( drunk ) out of my head.....Id rather stay sober and take my drink a stroll along the Sassagoula...Sorry...Mad hatter check out Bob on YouTube and I think you would find a new respect for him. Aye..Hash pie with two veg....That dude Fish who sang with Marillion has a farm near me..Or he did have.."I'm your Uncle Yee-Ha and I welcome you to Walt's holiday camp...!" Hatter, speaking of Prog Rock and British holiday camps, I went to a Marillion weekend at Butlins in Minehead in 2005. It was an...interesting...experience. Musically, it was great. Food-wise, let's just say the first meal I had after leaving there was in a cafe in Amsterdam, and it was one of the best meals of my life. Whew!
