Resort Hopping at Star Wars Hotel?

As near as I can tell, it will work like a cruise ship. You will book an itinerary and stay at the Star Wars Resort for however long that itinerary lasts.

Past that, it is all just a guess. One would assume that they will have DME and you will be able to come and go as you please. Transfering from this resort to another or vice versa would most likely be handled just like they do now.
I think people need to temper expectations a little. I will be curious how immersive it will be, while its expensive it's not like 8k a night and logistics of doing a story with actors and all is not easy or cheap to pull off well. Dont be surprised to be given a key card and walk around interacting with terminals that activate things a la magic quests you see at Great Wolf Lodge with some actors mixed in. I am sure the rooms will be super themed as will the public spaces and restaurants. Also, they built it close to the parks, they must assume guests will be hitting the parks too during their stay so how immersive could it be?

It will be very immersive. The way its been described, you check in and your immersion begins immediately. No exposure to the outside world or the parks. Windows are activating a sight of outer space and you dont leave the confines of the building until the experience ends. There have been patent releases that show some very interesting ways Disney is hoping to use innovative technology to wow us in the rooms. If its done right the guests will have plenty of areas throughout that will be interactive. CM's have been very professional in playing out various roles so I have no qualms that they will pull off a well done scenario. I'm sure the choice SW roles will be heavily competitive to get and only the best will be able to pull it off.

If your right than 1k a night seems pretty decent price
