Just got an E-Mail about faxing the PORS for requesting upgrade to royal room but I was wondering if the resorts have E- Mailing address instead of faxing?

That is interesting where did the email come from??
Verify with Guset Relastions that this is valid. Does the email request any kind of personal info.
If valid the reason a fax over email may be they require a signature.

E Mail from admin for the unofficial web site of Port Orleans Resort, and yes agree that the fax would be for signature.

Hmmm. I would call the resort to see if they are involved with this promotion. Did they request any other info or are there any conditions on this upgrade?

Can never be too careful these days!

Or cross check the fax number against the one found on allears or other sites for that resort.

Btw, resorts stopped taking fax requests for room upgrades years ago.

Is there a reason you aren't doing this over the phone? (Is it due to international fees?) I've always done any changes over the phone and gotten an e-mail confirmation. I'm not sure what you are trying to do... and why you need to fax anything????

I think calling from across the pond is pretty expensive. We both know you can be on hold for some time when calling Disney. Can you say $$$$$$$$$. In the past when they entertained it, I would fax over a room request, now I just have them make a note on my reservation.

PS That would be my reason but, Hatter may have another...we shall see....

Cheers.

Well I've found out that you cant e-mail the resort,so I'll just phone as I had to when making my ADRS due to a hiccup in the system.I went to my travel agent today and spent over a hour with the girl asking " what's this royal room anyway," Anyway thanks to all.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Was she able to explain the difference in the room? You can ask her to upgrade you... and she will stay on the phone herself.
