Planning 8 day trip for may. Caribbean beach resort or art of animation. Think I like idea of family suite with separate bedroom for 8 days

I have stayed at both with a family of 5. I would much rather stay at AoA. Caribbean seemed too spread out and disjointed. Some complain that the values are too noisy. I actually think it makes the resort feel a bit more alive. Themeing is also better.

Of the two I've only ever stayed at Caribbean Beach. It was a nice enough resort, but it's apparently under heavy construction right now. I'm not sure when that's supposed to be done. One thing about the CB is that it's a very spread out resort. If you're planning on taking the buses that could eat up some valuable park time. I've heard lots of good things about art of animation.

I love Carribean Beach it is my favorite resort , but having 2 kids of my own I would vote Art of Animation if "you" time and space is important to you because last year my family of 4 were breathing on each other at CB.

Both are completely overpriced unless it’s the standards at AoA...

I recommend Pop

If you’re gonna spend 300 and up a night...find a travel agent and get one of their highly discounted wholesale rooms at a deluxe or moderate.

CBR - its a moderate and as such you have some upgrades that you won't have at the AoA, such as a sit down restaurant and more importantly for my kids a better pool with a slide.

Personally, I'd opt for Pop or AoA, but knowing my kids like to spend a lot of time at the pool, its a consideration that I take seriously and usually opt for a moderate.
