If MK opens at 9, what time would the buses start picking up at the Epcot resorts?

We have a 8:30 breakfast one morning and are staying at Boardwalk. Trying to decide if I have to drive, taxi or if taking the bus is practical

buses will start about an hour before park opening. You should be fine. No time to stop and look once you get to the park but you will make it. Once you get to the MK and pass bag check just head to the right side of the gates and there will a CM with a list of ADR's that will let you in. Have a great breakfast!!!

This is an old rumor that just won't die. Regardless of park hours, buses start running from the resorts around 6:30 a.m.

Probably because that is exactly what is stated on the official site.

Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time up to one hour after Disney Theme Park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 2:00 a.m. from the Downtown Disney Area. Certain areas of Walt Disney World Resort are also connected by well-lit, paved, low-grade walking paths.

I think they have it like that as a CYA precaution. If they say 6:30 AM you can bet the farm that a guest will be complaining by 6:35.

I believe that if you mention your adr at your resort, they will arrange for a bus to pick you up. I haven't tried it though!

Yeah, we go to the bus an hour before early opening and see buses for every park, which usually means 2 hours before those parks open, so they're running ahead of what's advertised.

This is a correct statement, and even Megan (the CM I just spoke to) advised me when I check in this Saturday to let the front desk at POFQ know and they will arrange for a bus to be there for me... YAY... 3 days to go!

You can arrange it, but it's truly unnecessary, because the buses are running to the parks super-early whether anyone calls or not.

You can find some dark corners of Disney's website where it still says that Moderate resorts have refrigerators available upon request. People can request them all they want, but whether they request it or not, it WILL be in their room. Same thing with the early buses.
