resort booking question

I called WDW to see what deals I could get at Pop Century. Somehow the agent got me to make reservations for $112 a night minus my AAA discount, so they came to $95 plus tax. Now, I found out that I probably could have gotten a better rate if I'd have waited. Since my name and phone number are in their reservation system now, does that mean I won't be able to get a better deal when I call back? Should I cancel those? I really don't think the price they gave me was that good. We're going Mar. 5-12, 2005.

What type of room do you have: Standard or Preferred?
How many adults? Anything over 2 adds $10 per adult

The rack rate for the time you are going is $109/121. With tax that comes to approx. $121/135.

just b/c your name is in the system, it doesn't mean you can change it. I had reservations for Animal Kingdom Lodge this January and when I found out the passholder discounts, I called back and told them to look them up and change it for me. Not a problem at all.

Are there any discount codes out right now? If so, what travel dates are they good for? If not, anyone have an idea when the next codes may be announced?

1st don’t not cancel your reservations. I have made reservations at full rack rate.. Called back weeks later and have them apply AAA discount. Then call back again to apply AP discounted rate…. all without ever canceling or changing of confirmation number.
