Resort Area New Hotel Tour - October 17th, 2020

So Lisa and I went to observe the DLR Rally Saturday morning.

After saying Hi to a few folks also observing, such as the APD, decided to get some exercise and walk by some of the Hotels under construction, or just because.

Day started at AGW, then walked up to Manchester, walked it to Katella (Street changes names to Clementine), then walked the South side of Katella to the CM Denny's , and then the North side back to AGW.

Reported some graffiti on the My Anaheim App.

So now on Manchester and the new Two Hiltons for the price of One project.

Now to the Element by Westin, with a quick look at the Radisson Blu.

Next is the J.W. Marriott with a peek at Wally George's old studio, soon to be Hotel 55.

The Former Enterprise Rent-A-Car Lot is now available.

Thanks for the photo tour DB.

As I scrolled through the photos all I could think was that Anaheim has hit the jackpot for the newest collection of boring and ugly hotel designs. The JW property, which is nothing exceptional, looks like the Taj Mahal compared to the others. I'm happy that hotel chains are investing in Anaheim, but the Resort District deserves better. These designs are terrible.

So now it is time to head to the South Side of Katella, between Harbor and Clementine.

I was there last week as well, @Darkbeer1. What a sad sight to see! Empty, quiet, and not the OC I know and love.
