I am taking my family to disney in septmeber of 2004. I know you can't make the reservations now. but how soon before we go should i make them. i have done a ton os research so i know the ins and outs for looking for codes which i will be looking for every day before we go. should i make them like this time next year? let me know what you think. also do y ou think it would be worth it to buy an annual pass to book a room at a deluxe resort? would the discount make up for it. we are thinking of staying for atleast 6 nights plus i will try to book two rooms with the one annual pass.

A lot depends on which resort you want to stay at. In order to get your preferences esp. with codes, you need to reserve as soon as the codes are posted. We waited for a few weeks after the last codes were issued and all that was left by the time we booked for deluxe resorts were Poly and Beach Club.

I don't know what the discount for an AP will be. However, an AP is only worth the cost if you will be returning to WDW within the year or staying for longer than a week (10 days makes the daily cost less than other tickets).

Hope this helps, any other questions just ask.

You can make your reservations now. You can make th reservation and give the initial deposit and when it gets closer to your trip (before you pay it off) you come across a discount for the room, you can switch it over. That way you have the room all set and you have the 2 years to pay it off. They do have good deals with the annual pass. If you do want to save money, I would suggest getting one since you will need a park pass anyway.

Depending on what type of tickets you end up going with, buy them as soon as possible.
Ticket prices go up at least once a year, so the sooner you buy them the less you will pay. If you have a Disney Club membership buy them this year so that you can get the discount before the club ends.
I know if you try to book on line through the Disney website they only go through the end of the year at this point, but try calling a travel agent or Disney directly and you should be able to reserve your rooms.:)
