Hello Everyone my 180 day mark is a couple weeks away and I have started making my list for ADR's, this is the first trip that I'm making more than just 1-2 reservations. I will be making 8 total. My question being does anyone have any advice about how to make them? Is it best to call, Use the online system or go thru my travel agent?

My list of restaurants:
The Plaza
Ohana
Liberty Tavern
Sci Fi
Rain Forest Cafe
Crystal Palace
WCC
Chef Mickey

Sorry if it makes a difference I'm only looking to book for a party of 2.

I would use the online system. It gives you a chance to get in 1 hour before folks who call. I used it for the first time in jan, got every ADR for the time I wanted including some tough to get ones.

180 days out...online. You'd be able to see all the times available and should have a good choice. Supposedly if you're gonna do it online, you can at 6AM 180 days out and have a head start on people calling in for reservations.

I prefer to make our ADRs online...but, if I run into any issues, I know that I can call the WDW Dining Reservations #.
I have rarely run into any problems while booking online.
A few times the system has been down when I was planning to book.
Also, I have had to wait to make certain reservations due to the fact that I was unable to book 2 TS ADRs at one time - sometimes our party of 5 likes to split up & eat at different restaurants at around the same time.

Try to make them online at 6am Eastern time, but if you run into any problems, start calling a few minutes before 7am. I would also rank your requests in order of popularity and most desired by you, not necessarily in order by days. For example if you wanted to eat dinner at Le Cellier on your third day and you planned to eat at Shutters on your first night, I would place your request for Le Cellier before the request for Shutters.

I've been making them online for the third year in a row. I'm going to WDW in August and I've made 7 of them all online. I've never had problems with online resv. in the past. I'm going to a lot of the same restaurants as you. Certain restaurants require a credit, or debit card number to make them in case of "No Shows". Ohana, Tusker House, Cape may cafe are just a few that require the card to hold a resv. Good Luck!
