Requirements for Imagineer or CM?

Well when I start college I want to be a cast member, and eventually work my way up to an imagineer status (probably won't happen, but their slogan is to dream, right?).

Since that I'm still in High School and have time to prepare, I want to know what skills are necessary to work at Disney and be an Imagineer, and what classes should I take?

This is what Tony Baxter told me, so it might be some good advice for you too. :)

Pick a skill that you excel at and for which you know you are better at than most everyone else. It could be writing, architecture, engineering, art, etc. Be able to use this skill to make OTHER people's dreams come true. After awhile, your ability to do this will earn you the right to develop your own ideas.

Classes... find a way to combine something technical with something creative. Get a masters degree, get two. Become the very best at what you want to do. Get a good reputation, a good rapport with your colleagues in the industry.

Then WDI will come to you, and you will be with them on your terms.
