Reporting Spammers

Steve - why does the facility to Report Threads or Posts have a 60 second delay between each one (while other forums on here only make you wait 30 seconds) ??

There were six updated threads on the boards between 10:30 and 11:00 UK time and it obviously took an age to report each one.

It is also apparent that there are no mods on the boards during this time allowing the Spammers to continue advertsing their goods/services

Looking for a volunteer mod in the UK ?

We're not 24 hour moderators. There will be gaps, such as restroom breaks, lunch time, real jobs etc.

There is a delay so that moderators dont get mail bombed by the report to feature, as an email is generated with each click.

Also, there's no need to report multiple spams from the same spammer, once they're tagged all their posts go *poof*.

Report the first occurance and then let the mods do their thing when they get to it.

Monty is correct. When I read the email, I look up the posting history, delete all posts by poster, and ban the poster. All while drinking my morning coffee. :animwink:
