eww

I thinkk I have said it before but I want to see that American Girl store appear after seeing all the kids with them in NYC. It seems popular and I saw Jon & Kate plus 8 go to the store on TV and seems to fit in with family entertainment and they also had some dining in the place which would go down well in DTD. I have to say I do find the dolls freaky as hell. Maybe also a small build a bear on the ground floor too?

EWWWWW THOSE AMERICAN GIRL THINGS ARE SO CREEPY!! lol, thanks for the info though x

1. Disney Bowling Alley
2. Comedy Warehouse...with actual Stand-ups that tour...not "family-ised."
3. Adventurer's Club
4. One giant nightclub with different floors playing different types of music
5. An F1 type karting venue.
6. ESPN Zone
7. Raglan Road
8. Classy Billiard's Hall

This has a little for everyone...and is more "adult-based" without focusing the entire evening around alcohol!

For those that don't know what F1 karting is... here's a vid.
The indoor karts go 40-45mph...it doesn't seem that fast, but being so low and having quick, sharp corners...it's amazing.

I really do like these ideas! The bowling alley idea is a pretty good idea too. I can see that maybe they could split up PI into two areas, the central walkway could be the area for family oriented things (not specifically catering to families, but okay for families none-the-less) and they could build a walkway along side the lake along which rests the things catering for adults.

Let's be honest people! Citywalk is everything Downtown Disney should be (and to some degree is @ Disneyland).

You get foot-traffic during the day from people going to the parks.
You pack the resturants and shops during the evening after the parks close.
You keep it packed during the Night by having Clubs, Live Music, and a Movie Theater.

One of the great things Citywalk did was put the clubs "upstairs" so that way nobody would go up there without knowing what they were getting themselves into.

Now at first they had free parking after 6pm, but this year it's now $3. I bet you that's to get rid of those "thugs" that come to the place.

You also don't have to have booty dancing clubs either. The Rising Star is great. Pat O's has amazing piano music to drink to.

The problem with PI was always location, location, location. It was a akward sandwich.

But Citywalk is something that brings a lot of locals in, and something Disney could have used, especially with the economy the way it is. And that's probably why I still have a Universal Pass, but haven't renewed my Disney Pass (yet!).
