rental cars at Shades of Green?

I was thinking about getting a rental car for the last day or 2 of our trip, since our flight home is kind of late at night. The cheapest deal I found says I can pick up at the same address that Shades of Green is located at, so I'm assuming that they have several rental car agencies on site at that hotel.

Has anyone had any experience with renting a car from there? Also, I've found several sites that say Shades of Green is only a 10 minutes walk across the street from Poly. Is this true? I'd hate to book a rental car only to find out that it's actually located across town and unreachable unless I get a taxi, thereby defeating the whole purpose of renting a car...

I have rented a car from the Car Care Center before (and they just come pick you up at your hotel) but the deal from Shades of Green is too good to pass up.

It is about a 15 minute walk. Not sure about the car rentals

They have only one on site and the desk is in the lobby. It is about at 10-15 minute walk from the Poly. Where are you staying? Which car rental agency?

We are staying at one of the All-Star resorts. I was thinking we could just take the monorail to Poly from MK our second to last day there and walk over to pick the car up. National car rental had the cheapest rate I could find, and their address matches up with where Shades of Green is, but I thought SOG only had Hertz.

The Shades website says Alamo but Alamo and National are the same company so yes National Car does have a location at Shades of Green. It's a nice walk and if you're lucky you could see an alligator in the ponds on the Shades property. We never have.... but I've seen pictures

Thanks for the help! I just booked it ($14 a day!!!) and I am super excited...thinking about taking a drive to explore a few other Disney resorts once we have the car.
