Received an email that during our stay September 14-16 they will be doing renovations on select rooms and one of the 5 leisure pools. Not really going to bother us since it's just a quick weekend trip, but does anyone know what type of renovations that they are doing?

Thanks!

This is listed on their site on the refurb page....
Port Orleans Riverside Guest Room “Soft Goods” Refurbishment (late Summer/Fall 2018)
Now that the Port Orleans French Quarter room refurbishments are complete (see below), work has commenced on Port Orleans Riverside’s Alligator Bayou section, starting with building 37 and then 38. This began on 21 July, but please remember that maintenance plans and dates are always subject to change at any time. Each 64-room building should take around three to four weeks to complete, and there will be periods of overlap when two or more buildings may be worked on simultaneously. The entire Alligator Bayou section should be complete by the end of the year.
Notification letters and emails have already started going out to guests who are booked at the resort during this period, but since the Alligator Bayou buildings are a lot smaller than those in French Quarter each one should be completely closed before any work commences. There will be no major external work, just in-room redecorating, so there should be little if any disruption to anyone’s stay — if indeed you even notice at all.
During the period when some of the buildings near to the ‘twenties’ leisure pool are unoccupied, that pool (the one closest to building 24) will be closed for fairly extensive maintenance work, including re-skimming the interior surface. Work commenced on 13 Aug and will continue until around 5 Oct (subject to change). The room assignment team will be making every effort to avoid placing any guests with Pool View or Garden View bookings into rooms that are close to the twenties pool during this work. Note: The 30s pool (next to buildings 35 and 36) was closed for a few days from 7 Aug to 10 Aug for minor routine work on the decking area.
Once all 16 Alligator Bayou buildings are complete, work will commence on the Magnolia Bend area. This section is expected to begin in early Spring 2019, and the four large mansion buildings should take a total of around six months to complete.

Was there 2 weeks ago, Alligator Bayou building #25. Our building had not been updated yet, but the adjacent quiet pool closed the second day we were there for a demolition/rebuild. They had trailers in the parking lot into which I saw them loading mattresses from the rooms. Other than that, the renovations were not noticeable.
