In Canada we observe Remembrance Day on November 11th , the anniversary of the World War I Armistice. This year there is a Remembrance Week observation from 5 - 11 November. The theme for the week is "How Will You Remember". I choose to remember by posting this.

The following is a music video by Terry Kelly, a Canadian performer who was upset to hear a customer insisting on service while the Shoppers' Drug Mart he was in observed two minutes' silence at 11AM in honour of Remembrance Day. He wrote the song "A Pittance of Time".

Since this is the first time I'll be away from home this year (by a LOT), I've already printed up a poppy and put a safety pin through it; been wearing it since November 1st to uphold my personal annual tradition.

The song may sound familiar, but the video is uniquely Canadian.
