Where are Catholic Religious services now being held on property?? I know they used to be at the Polynesian at Luau Cove and also on Saturday night at one of the Downtown Disney resorts. I am talking back almost 10-15 years ago. Does anyone know where services are held now?? Easter services were held at the Contemporary, but that was special.

THANK GOD THEY DON'T PLAY FOOTBALL!!
And how those American Footballers would run away screaming at the sight of a rugby match, with no body armour or helmets to protect the sensitive little souls. Plus, no sitting down on the bench to get your breath back after a couple of ten second plays.

Yes.... I forgot to put in the 'out' in without.... my fault.....

BTW: excellant??? hmmm.... looks like someone should have spent more time studying in college!! Just Kidding!! That's a simple mistake and we both become victums of not proof reading our posts!! Alright... u got me I got u... we are even!

But u understand what I meant...... I need to keep my GPA where it is at..... because the one Business Honors Program I want to apply to requires at least a 3.8 GPA to get into ......... basically at my University one 'A-' and you are flirting with not being accepted to the program!! And plus.... not to get into the "Affirmative Action" thing too much..... but with me being white and all.... I think I might have to shoot for about a 3.9!!!

Must be nice to be a white male. You should shoot to be the best you can be and realize that many people are working towards the same goal. It will be awful to miss out because some very smart woman got a better GPA. I doubt AA has anything to do with this. The onus will be on you.

Triton, you will do well to drop your race-baiting comments. There is no color on this board. We are all united by our interest in Walt Disney World.

BRAVO!!! That comment really got to me. But, you know, if you fail you have to blame someone and no one likes to blame themselves.

Football ? you mean american football, the game thats a bit like rugby but the players all have to wear pads and helmets and stop every 20 seconds cause there such athletes.

Or is it the gane with the world series, featuring teams from all over the one country?

LOL!!!! I hate American Football. Too many time outs, takes WAY too long and the athletes are a joke.
World Series, yet another joke. Make it real, invite other countries.

You forgot both rules 5 and 6... and I quote from the rule manual.....

Rule Five: The players should now lay about themselves for
all they are worth with whatever they find to hand. Whenever a player
scores a "hit" on another player, he should immediatly run away as fast
as he can and apologize from a safe distance.
Aplogies should be concise, sincere and, for maximum clarity and
points, delivered through a megaphone.
Rule Six: The winning team shall be the first team that
wins.

Ok.... first of all....... I have a 3.8 GPA (not to brag!! Just to state the fact)..... I can't do much better than that!! And according to the honors program "standards" I have an eligible GPA.... and yet I might be denyed an opportunity in the program! Personally, that kinda bothers me.... but that just motivates me to work even harder to "beat the system." The average GPA of the members currently in the program is 3.55... so that essentially means that there are members in the program with GPA's below a 3.5!! That is rediculous..... I mean 30 Business Students are accepted into the program each year out of hundreds of applicants!! Now....if I don't get accepted into this program.... believe me I know it is not the end of the world.... I just don't want to be denied an opportunity that I clearly earned!!

Now..... I will not be bitter towards those who get accpted over me (if I am not admitted) I will accept that the Admissions board made their decision that others are more "capable" than me. This program has been one of my goals since my Sophomore year in high school and I think I am doing everything I can to accomplish this goal and just hope I am given a fair chance.

Enderikari - Don't you try to out-weird me - I get stranger things than you in my breakfast cereal. ;)

I don't know Barnum, I may be able to outweird you, in spades... But that would be a fight for a different topic... and a different date. But I tell you, give me an oppurtunity to be weird, and I will be there with bells on....

Jingle Jingle....

I have a 4.0 GPA and I attend church all the time; my dad is an associate pastor. If you don't want to go to church on vacation, just say it, and stop using excuses. The hole you're digging is getting deeper and wider.

Seriously, man; no one cares whether you go to church on your WDW vacations or not. Now, continue the discussion about WDW. :)

Wait... .are we talking about soccer players here? Personally I think all soccer players are wusses!! I mean seriously.... they get tripped from behind and they act as if they have just been shot!!! To me it is hilarious to see the grimous on their face and then watch them run off the field!! Personally, I'll never understand why all the players act like they have just been shot whenever they hit the ground...... well I guess. THANK GOD THEY DON'T PLAY FOOTBALL!! Every game would take 3 days to play because every play there would be another "faker" down on the groud giving his best acting job!!!

I must agree: both of my younger brothers play American soccer, and I spend half the time at their games rolling my eyes at the players' over-exaggerated injuries! How violently can someone possibly thrash over fake pain?

Like the Cricket World cup?

Mind you, if you thought American Football went on too long, cricket games last up to five DAYS!

They must last that long cause the wickets are sticky. ;)
I really only watch Tennis and Equestrian events, sometimes skating.

Of course you can do better, you can get up to a 4.0. :) Then you surely would get into the honors program. If you are "beaten" by other students, how will you be sure their GPA is not higher than yours? Unless you have access to all the GPAs you will never know. I don't object to your wanting to get into the program, I strongly object to your mention of AA. Which does provide for minorities and being a woman and considered a minority, I object to someone using that as a possible excuse for not getting into a program. It indicates that a woman could have a 3.5, for instance, and beat you out of a place in the program. Sorry, but, I don't really believe it works that way, if it did women would no longer be considered a minority.

And I wake up at 10:00 every Sunday and usually head right over to the library!!My parents know I just simply don't "waste time"!

Well it seems to me that you are wasting a lot of our time, So go study, but I don't see the point of having a 3.8 GPA but to have a -5.8 GPS... (general people skills.)

And to get back to the thread, I never went, but judging by the amount of car in front of the commons every sunday, there must be some people who feel the need to go to church when on vacation.
