Regular Disney goers...

We live in the middle of the country and need to fly so we do not go as often as I would like. But lately I have been making 2 trips a year. We have our favorites but have stayed at most of the resorts over the last 20 years. We have not hated any of them. I usually try to go for convenience like staying at Beach Club during the F&WF, but some years the budget does not allow that. POFQ is one of our favorites because of the size. We always stay on site.

You will find me at either Boulder Ridge or Copper Creek every trip, unless there's no room at the inn. Then it's one of the other DVC resorts.

Most of the time I stay where my sister books with her DVC points and since I don't pay I'm very happy. When it's just my husband and I we stay at Beach or Yacht Club. He likes being close to two different parks.

for the past 20 years we've typically been going 2-4 times a year as allowed. When we were younger we'd usually stay at WL which was a splurge along with the GF and BC rarely due to cost. It was mostly Pop and sometimes POFQ. As we've gotten older we pretty much stay exclusively at deluxes. We're fortunate that we're able to afford them. I would have no problem staying at POFQ, but we usually bounce around between YC/BC/GF.

I've stayed at most Disney resorts but my home away from home has become the All-Star Sports. We go every year for the food and wine and would rather spend money on food then on resorts. Also, after going so many times I'm no longer in a hurry to hit everything, I'll just do it next time, so staying at one of the Epcot resorts no longer matters. If they sold All-Star Sports DVC I'd be the first in line.

I have done all the All-Stars, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Coronado Springs and French Quarter. Coronado is usually our favorite but depending on current pricing we usually try to stick at resort within a certain budget. I absolutely love the Polynesian but can never justify the cost just to stay there. We did All-Star Sports for Mickey's NSS Halloween two years ago since I was in town for business and the family came down for the weekend and I was a little disappointed. I used to love the All-Star resorts but it felt very run down and dirty compared to the past stays I had. When you could stay there for $100 or less they were fantastic but the new prices being higher, I'd almost spend a little extra for FQ or CS.

Those of you who like to go to WDW fairly regularly, do you prefer to stay at the same resort each time? Do you like to try out new ones each time? Do you switch between offsite and onsite? I've only ever stayed at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek, which we have been very happy with. Now that my kids are a little bit older, we don't necessarily need the full kitchen and in suite laundry (which is still quite handy). I would love to try new places each time but I find it hard once you find something you like. That being said, we will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter next time and I'm pretty excited about it.
All of the above. Port Orleans riverside is our go-to. It was our first on-site stay and we have tons of great memories. Second is the moderate priced deluxe dolphin for he walk to epcot and hs. I like to be monorail resorts to get to mk, and poly is nice to walk to ttc and get to epcot. We’ve done a fair number of offsites (6) for all sorts of reasons (family time share, conference, deal, other family booked there, modifying a stay for a hurricane evacuation - yes, that happened.)
