Refurbishments at EPCOT?

Has anyone heard about refurbishments going on in World Showcase at EPCOT? Someone was telling that they heard several countries had screens up around the buildings. If this is true, any ideas how long they might be up?

I'm taking a friend to WDW in a few weeks that has never been before.

Norway and Italy have tarps up in their pavilions for repairs. I think Canada also has them.

If Canada doesn't have them, another country does since there are Three countries getting refurbished.

Norway, Italy, and Canada are undergoing major work. China and France also have smaller projects going on.

Anyone know where these projects will be all completed?

I know that Norway is refurbishing Maelstrom, and it's scheduled to reopen in Mid-October.
