I probably will get an immediate correct answer to this little piece of trivia, but here it goes:

At the very end of the show after the torch in the middle of the earth is lit, how many fireworks are shot in the finale and why did the imagineers pick that number?

Sorry..

I didn't describe the part of the show well enough. I have to be careful though or I'd give it away. The part in question is right after the lit flame in the center of the earth explodes in a series of two bursts of fireworks. Right after that. HINT: A LOT OF FIREWORKS.:)

Well...It's known as the Million points of light but I don't think they actually fire 1,000,000 shells. I think it's probably closer o 2,000 shells. (Which would have a relatively obvious significance.) Am I right? :lookaroun

You are right! However, the famous Ptolemy phrase is "1000 points of light", not a million. They use 1000 "roaming candle-like" shells in the finale. The entire show uses some 2,800 shells nightly. Great job!

MGMBoy: 10 points

Next question:

If all of the lights on the buildings (the ones that outline the buildings) of the different nations were strung together and layed out in a straight line, how long would the string of lights be?

Your close enough so you're right! The length of the string of lights would be 26,000 feet.
Great job MGMboy!

Here's the next question:

This one will probably be easy. How many times are fireworks shot from the perimeter of the lagoon during the Reflections of Earth show?

Somebody else needs to start answering. MGMBoy is getting a big lead!:)

LOL! That's because I have no life and I'm ALWAYS on here. I'll wait or this evening to take a shot at this question if no one else has it by then. :-)

The clock is ticking!

Here is the question one more time:

How many times are fireworks shot from the perimeter of the lagoon during the Reflections of Earth show?

I put the answer down tomorrow if no one answers! I'll just have to assume that I stumped everybody!

If you count the "comet" riht at the beginning (I know it's not algoonside but it is land based). I believe there are three lagoon firings (two without the "comet"). Am I right?

Then I'm pretty sure it's only the one time at the end of "Promise" (After the 1,000 points of light). Unless...Wait...They DO do it twice during RoE don't they (Not including the comet)? That would make it a total of 3 (4 w/ comet). There's no way they do it more then that I don't think.

You're right MGMBoy! Again! I considered the comet at the begining as part of the perimeter fireworks since it isn't located directly in the center of the lake like the rest of the show.

Here are where the four different sets of perimeter fireworks are used:

The one comet in the beginning
A set right before the finale for the song Celebration(The one with the blue fireworks and the big booms)
A set right before the end of the finale for the song Celebration
And finally, right after the 1000 points of light finale.

Great job MGMBoy!:king:

Next Question

Ok everyone, here is the next question:

How many fireworks are used to create the asteroid "big bang" explosion at the beginning of RoE?

HINT: Think carefully.

Three total I believe. (Not having my video to remind me I'm going off of 8 month old memory.) The comet from shore is one and I think there are actually two shells that fire from the lagoon. Either that or a two stage shell because there's one with a smaller blast radius that leaves trails like the comet and one that has a much larger blast radius that makes the bulk of the noise.

Nothing stumps you does it MGMBoy!? You are right. There are three fireworks to create the opening sequence of the comet.

1. The comet
2. One shell from the lagoon that creates the red embers and the most large noise.
3. One shell from the lagoon that creates the comet like white trails. (smaller blast radius)

Great Job!:) :king:

Here's the next question:

Disney created its own laser colors for the RoE show. Of those shown below, which ones are actual Disney colors?

-lagoon blue
-lemon yellow
-mint green
-pumpkin orange
-ice white
-midnight blue
-lavender
-apple red

Good luck!

Actually...I think you may have me stumped on this one. I'm sure I have this information somewhere at home but I've been trying o answer these from memory so I'll give it a shot but I'm really just grabbing straws. I'd guess Lagoon Blue, Ice White, Midnight Blue, Mint Green and Apple Red but I doubt it. You finally hit one I couldn't get. (Yet.) *Evil Cackle*

Okay...I looked through the colors again and I think I figured it out. Lagoon Blue, Lavender, Pumpkin Orange, and Mint Green. Ice White was one other one I looked at but then realized that a white laser in that show wouldn't have nearly the impact so I don't think it is one. Apple red also seemed possible but they use dozens of shades of red lasers everywhere so there was no reason to develop a new one.
