Someone will be along with a more complete answer, but they are all Coke products.

There is far more than the usual Coke, diet, and Sprite, however. I recall fruit punch, raspberry tea, and lemonade for non carbonated lovers, and orange, root beer, and I think Cherry Coke. This may be different at different resorts, or may change from time to time.

Pop Century had frozen Coke as well.

You'll have to bring you own Mountain Dew...

All of the sodas, iced tea, hot chocolate, coffee and hot tea. You usually have to ask at the counter for a tea bag, but there is no charge with the refillable mugs.

This may be slightly off-topic, but speaking of refillable mugs....

We were staying at Saratoga Springs during the first week of January 06, and after filling up our mugs with hot chocolate (it was one of the chillier evening in Orlando), we walked to Downtown Disney sipping the warm beverage. As we were walking and shopping in the Marketplace area, we were stopped by 2 cast members and a pin trader in the pin trading area asking us where we got the mugs. All of them were Chip and Dale collectors and they've never seen the Chip and Dale refillable mugs from Saratoga Springs.

So we told them where to get the mugs.

:)

Am I wrong to think that's a steal?

I think so, but some people just don't see the point. I guess it really depends on how much you use them. There are 4 of us and we use them about 4 times a day with an average of 2 refills each per trip to the snackbar, more if its in the summer. You get coffee, hot tea, all of the sodas and iced teas to choose from. For us its a no brainer and we buy 4 mugs each trip.

There are 4 of us also and we are probably getting the mugs. My husband is diabetic and drinks tons of diet drinks like a 3 liter a day besides meals so we are getting a steal. My question is where can you feel them up? We are staying at pop and its pretty far from the main parks so if we need a refill do we have to go all the way back to pop to get it?Others who have used them please explain when you refill if this i so ?i have heard they dont' enforce the rule of filling up only at the place they were purchased , is this true?Like I said either way is a deal for us , I 'm just interested in how it all works.we are thinking we will use the mugs in the morning and then in the evening when we go back to the hotels if you can only fill up at the place you purchase them.

They can be refilled only at the snackbar that you buy them in (unless there is more than one at your resort), they will not refill them in the parks.
Haven't been to the Pop so I don't know about that. I do know the Boardwalk Inn is a pain because you have to go outside to get them refilled.

They are basically used only when you are at your resort... we use them in the morning for coffee/tea as we are getting ready for the day, in the afternoon when we take a break to swim and in the evening when we get back from the parks if the snackbar is still open. Of course if we have a meal there we will fill them up also...so thats 2 refills/person each time we use them... that would be 8 beverages to be bought, so it saves money for us.

Just a side note...I'm also a diabetic and just want to say that all that soda is not really good for the hubby (even though its sugar free). I know how hard it is to wean down, but try to get him to take more water. If he can't do it plain right now there are sugar free mix sticks to use. We brought them with us this past summer (both my oldest & I are non insulin dependant) and they worked great.

He has been in the buiseness for years and years either at coke or pepsi. he is at pepsi now . We bought the fruit punch and grape and other drink sticks that you pour in a water bottle. I think we will take some with us.Their cheap and convenient .

Well he is around it all day so its hard to resist!

We reaally liked the iced tea (4C is the best) and bought the WalMart brand of lemonade, orange drink and fruit punch. I make the kids go one for one...one plain bottle of water and then one flavored.

how do you clean the mugs. Is there like a fountain or something.

We always just rinse them out back in the room.

We don't carry them to the parks, but if you do, when they are empty put some paper towels in to keep them from leaking on your stuff.

I've learned that depending when you come to WDW, the $12 mugs can be more than just a "steal"; they can save you lots of money in drinks! My family recently came down to visit me and stayed at the Polynesian; the weather plummeted into the 40s nearly every night, and the wind blowing across the lagoon made things even worse. Within a couple of days, we must have refilled those mugs with hot chocolate at least ten or twelve times, not to mention all the soft drinks and tea! Because we had a large party and only purchased a couple of mugs (then shared the drinks in disposable cups), we figured that we must have saved over a hundred bucks.

Also, depending on where you stay, you don't have to request a tea packet. Deluxe and some of the moderate resorts often just place the tea caddy out where it's accessible to all.
