We will be staying at a value resort for the first 2 nights before moving to our DVC home resort for the next 6 nights. Can anyone tell me if I buy a refillable mug at value resort the first day, can I continue using it at DVC resort? I think I remember that length of stay is valid for 14 days and can be refilled at any Disney owned resort on property. Any experience is appreciated!!

Yes, it'll work for your whole stay. I bought mine Thursday 4/30 and every time I fill it, it tells me it will work through 5/14. And you're right, it will work at any resort on property!

On our February trip we got stuck in Orlando for three extra days due to a winter storm and moved from Pop to ASMusic. We were thrilled to know that they still worked at our new resort past our original "stay."

How much does one have to drink before you come out ahead? I barely drink soda or coffee and am curious.

A cold drink cup (which gives you 4 free refills in a 2 hour period) is $2.99. A hot cup for coffee is $2.59 (unlimited refills). So if you drink 2 sodas per day (more than 2 hours apart, so that you would need to purchase 2 cups) your "break-even" point would be day 3 and your "savings" would begin on day 4. If you drink 1 soda per day, your "savings" would not begin until day 7. Drink only coffee and the "savings" would not be until day 8.

Thanks, the mugs are definitely not worth it for me. They were when I was younger, when it was one lower price for LoS.

When we were at POFQ a few weeks ago, the only option for mug purchase was "length of stay" (which is how it used to be before they offered 2 days, 3 days, etc. ) It was $17.99.

They should have still offered the shorter lengths of days. Did the signage only show length of stay (which I believe still actually is 2 weeks, but if you are there longer hold your receipt and a manager should be able to override after the 2 weeks) or is that all the CM selling the mug suggested?

Signage. We did not purchase a mug so didn't think to ask about it.
