Refillable mugs have handles again!

Uni removed the handles from the HHN edition freestyle mugs this year, and also reverted to the dome-shaped tops with the cheesy/flimsy strap-like handle over the top. I prefer last year's design.

We had the handled freestyle mugs at Uni and the strappy handle at Sea World, I preferred the strap handle at SW for carrying round the park when empty.
But at Disney when carrying full mugs of coffee back to the room I had to use a cardboard cup holder as the mugs had no handles and two mugs of coffee and two pastries is more than will fit in my hands.

what's the restrictions on where you can refill them (on the DDP)? thx.

The resort refillable mugs only work at the resorts. There are no locations in the theme parks that you can use them (legally) to refill. The water parks offers their own reusable mugs, but those are separate from the ones you will get as part of the DDP.

Thanks. That's what I thought too. Someone had posted in a trip report recently that each park had one refill location. I would have spent the whole day searching for them.

Hence the comment about legally. Resort mugs are only good in the resorts. The very few CS locations that have guest accessible fountains (I can think of 1 each at MK, DHS and AK off the top of my head) are supposed to be for guests who purchase a beverage at that location.
