Refillable Mug

Just a quick question, if anybody knows the answer. I will be switching resorts, could I get a mug on day 1 and keep it all vacation or just one resort usage? I will be at POR for just one day, so it isn't a huge deal, just a curiousity.

I think you should ask Disney. But my guess is that you could keep the same mug.

Even if it was against the rules, you could still do it, if you were willing to break the rules.

We switched resorts on our last trip and kept using the mug we got at the first resort. The mugs are all the same at all resorts, so there's no problem using the same one.

I was thinking that, but I know mug police can be quite a fickle bunch. One night isn't a huge deal, but having a cold drink would be nice coming back so late.

I was curious because last March while at the parks I bought a mug that was nearly identical to the refillable mugs. I purchased it at Caseys. It had a purple lid and handle with the white background and Minnie & Mickey. I believe I paid $4.99 or $5.99 for it. I wish I had purchased two. We went back the next day to buy another and they were sold out. They informed us they were not going to be selling them again.

Maybe that's actually one of the reasons that they DON'T have resort specific mugs? I know my family likes to switch resorts mid vacation too and it would totally not be worth buying refillable mugs twice (its barely worth it as it is if you don't spend time at the resort).

God- I hope they change for 2013! These ones aren't my favorite. We had nice seasonal mugs for December 2007 with a blue and white color and snow.

Luckily they dont serve margarita in them so I have no worries.
