Better mug deal...

Not that I am cheap, by any stretch of the imagination, but my wife and I have done this a few times. If you get a locker at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, you can trade your deposit for a mug (about 2 bucks!). So instead of paying 9 dollars or so for a mug, pay 2 and get all the benefits of the free refills.

This is best if you want to take in a water park on the first day!

Yeah but Disney has the right to tell you you can't use those mugs, because they aren't from the resort you are staying at.

Heading for the great escape.
We were told about the mugs on our first visit, thought about taking them back with uson our next visit but decided they would be a waste of space in the cases. So we got new ones a bad habit that has resulted in a complete cupboard filled with various mugs and drinks containers. We always seem to find space in the luggage going home.
We only get two mugs at the water parks and share them, the need for regular refills means the driks are always cold!!!

We have avariety of mugs from the different resorts, waterparks, crazy golf etc. We always buy three new ones from which ever hotel we stay at and use two old ones as well. The CM never says anything, but I 'm sure they would if we tried to use five different ones. I know we all like to save the odd dollar here and there, but surely we have to realise that Disney has to make a little money too:animwink:

A friend of mine who was a lifeguard at AS told me about a CM who would go around picking up mugs left behind at the pool. He'd fill up a garbage bag every day. He gave my friend a bunch of them. It makes for very elegant dining you know.
