DW and I baught a tall clear plastic Disney cup in the MK the one that the straw bends back into the lid. My question is can you refill this at a discount? I know it wont be free. Our trip is only 23 days away, YAY!

Don't they still have some type of those refillable mugs at the parks? I might be thinking of someplace else, but I was thinking that refills were a couple of dollars, but you had to lug the cup around all day. I'm thinking they were available at the popcorn carts.

I know a few years ago, I picked up classic insulated plastic mugs with lids while in the park. I liked the design and got hot chocolate in it. BUT they could not only NOT give me any discount on refills, they're not even allowed to hand the mug back across the counter. There's a health and safety rule that prevents them from letting me hand them my used mug and them filling it. So even paying full price for another hot chocolate, you have to have them give you another disposable cup, then pour it in your mug yourself. Wasteful yes, but that's the rule.
There are various times you can find/buy the insulated mugs in different themes across the year but there's NO refills possible and no refill discounts given. It's just a "collector's mug."
We actually asked about that when we were there last spring. If my memory serves, Animal Kingdom was the only park allowed to offer refillable cups. It had something to do with the way each park overlaps counties and Animal Kingdom was the only one in just one county. The others overlaped. Taxes or regulations or something.
Animal Kingdom may be the only park that does the refillable sports bottles, but that explanation is not correct.
While the overall Disney property does span two counties (Orange and Osceola), all theme parks, water parks, Downtown Disney and most hotels are entirely in Orange County. The All-Stars are the only hotels in Osceola County (which is why the taxes on hotel rooms there is 0.5% higher than all the other hotels, due to the slightly higher county tax there)

so pop century is in orange county rob?
Just barely. It looks like the county line just brushes the southern edge of the land that Pop is on (somewhere in the parking lot by building 7), but all of the buildings are within Orange. That's why there's always a slight price difference between rooms at the All-Stars and Pop (Pop is ever-so-slightly cheaper)
I did make one omission, Wide World of Sports is also in Osceola County. There's also a cast facility off Sherberth Road that's in Osceola. (I think they hold Entertainment auditions there)
If you look at a map online, look west of Disney and find where US192 runs due east/west at the intersection of 429/Western Beltway. US192 is the dividing line between Orange to the north and Osceola to the south. Where 192 dips south, you can visually continue that line straight eastward into Disney property and see where it cuts through and divides things. Animal Kingdom and its parking lot are just north of this line.
Celebration is also in Osceola County.
