Reedy Creek and WDW

Was just on the RCD website and noticed something interesting.
Under our citys it said

City of Lake Buena Vista and City of Bay Lake.

BAY LAKE???? Is this the same Bay Lake that I rode around in water sprites in the 80s near the Contemp???? Thought it was weird to see this.

Yes, Bay Lake is considered to be a part of Reedy Creek... There are several lakes within the district that Disney uses for transportation within WDW.

Sort of. The Walt Disney World property is contained within two cities, one named Lake Buena Vista, and the other named Bay Lake (the same as the body of water).
