Redeeming old Magic Your Way Tickets with PH Non Expiration that have days left?

Can anyone assist with this. Wife and I have 2 of the old 7 Day Magic Your Way Tickets with PH Non Expiration that each have 3 days remaining. These are the older plastic character cards.

It's my understanding Disney still accepts these tickets. If so, what exactly do we do to transfer them into a current ticket?

Also - how does all that work. If we have 3 days left on each and these were park hoppers:

- Does the value change or do we get 3 new days with PH?
- Assuming we get new cards/tickets - do those expire? Or can we use only 1 day?

Thank you so much for any help!

If MDE doesn’t recognize the ticket number then you can call and have someone help you. IIRC, my friends had never put their nonexpiring tickets that we bought 10 years in MDE and needed to call Disney for assistance but once they did that they were good to go and they had no issues during our trip last month.

For anyone seeing this, I was able to call Disney and they were very helpful. After sending to the department to research, they added both of the tickets to our MDE, keeping the park hopping and no expiration.
Yes, you can use the 3-days (with PH ability) whenever you wish. One trip, two trips or three different visits since they are non-expiration. BUT be sure to make theme park reservations.

You cannot add-on or upgrade the tickets in any manner.

There are many accounts of people finding very old Disney tickets they forgot they had found stashed away in a junk drawer or found in a relatives home after they had passed away and Disney allowed them to be redeemed. Glad you found yours and can put them to good use. Sometimes you can see very old ones being sold on E-Bay that people collect as Dis memorabilia.

That's good to know that you could do it over the phone. I've seen many people say they could use old tickets, but they all seemed to have to go to Guest Services on arrival to have them added to their account. I haven't really read any posts about this in the last few years, so I don't know how long ago it became possible to do over the phone. All this to say that I have 6 old tickets (when *all* tickets were NE and PH) that each have a day left on them (2 of them are children's tickets so I'm not sure how they'll work) that I didn't think we'd ever be able to use because logistically, I needed to have our tickets in our account to do FP/G+/LL/whatever in advance. We always take 7-8 day trips since we're 1,000 miles away. But recently, a close family member moved to FL and is about 75 minutes away from Disney. Now I can see a situation where we might do a trip to visit them and jump over to Disney for a day or two, so these tickets might actually come in handy!
