I didn't see an appropriate existing thread for this, but the Disneyland Ambassadors posted this to their Instagram, and that looks to be a large permanent sign for Red Rose Tavern. So it looks like Village Haus won't be back.

Nice sign. Too bad though, I’ll miss the old murals. Would they be doing this if Be our Guest was coming anytime in the near future?

On another note I’d imagine Pinocchio will be getting more attention than BATB In coming years when they inevitably announce a live action remake.

There is also an entire parking structure called Cleo being built

I think it has no bearing on a Be Our Guest restaurant in the future. Signs don't cost anything and are easily replaced even if they are a few months old.

Such a shame. I really don't like the over reliance on the modern animated films. I'm a youngster but I find the movie's Walt made to be of way higher quality than any so called "renaissance" films. Pinocchio is my favorite of Disney's library with Snow White as a close second. It's like Disney forgets they have any movies pre 1990 when it comes to merchandise or promotions.

Pinocchio still has a ride, and the writing on the wall for this has been very evident. The location does better numbers since the Red Rose overlay started and provides unique menu draws that Village Haus never had. Since this "temporary" overlay has overstayed its status by over a year, it's pretty obvious this one is sticking.
