I've said it before many times, and I'll say it again right now... :

I'd hop in the car and drive from WV all the way to Florida RIGHT NOW for Fantasmic. I love that show maybe more than anything else I sit and watch while on property. I love the crossover of all the characters and I love the water effects and I love all of the music and I love how I get chills when Mickey "wins" and I love doing the wave before it starts and I love.....EVERYTHING about it.

even that "misplaced" Pocahantas scene.

Love it all.

that was just a long list of complaints from the trip..

Fantasmic is awesome.. Yes, there is a water show.. but the inbetween is great. And the finale.. is magical.

Im sure however, if you looking for things to complain about, instead of having a great time.. you will find some.

YOURE a long list of complaints! kidding... yeah i dont feel i was complaining, in fact i said i liked everything except fantasmic. obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion, and thats fine, my mom certainly enjoyed it, i didnt rain on her parade. i really just felt more could be done with it. but overall my trip was great!

The Nemo musical was cool and confusing at the same time. I wasn’t really enjoying the songs, and probably would have preferred if they just preformed the movie without them. Also I understand the format of the show, but I found it annoying how the “voices” of the puppets would act as the character from time to time. So are we watching the puppet or the voice? Also, that’s not how I would imagine Crush’s singing voice to sound…

The puppetry is based on the puppetry in The Lion King and Avenue Q on Broadway. Basically, the theory behind it is that the puppets give the characters a sense of identity (they actually look like them!) but the actors then add another level of depth, being able to show a much more flexible range of emotion. I've always found that in those types of shows, I only really look at the puppets for about 5 minutes, and then I spend the rest of the time looking at the actors.

I like Fantasmic, but I don't think anyone can deny that the whole thing is completely random. I really wish they would do something else with the Pocohontas part I just don't get it.

As far as MILF and Nemo go, my reaction to both were *Meh*, although the fact that both of them have A/C and a place to sit gives the extra points.

Oh, and your complaint about BB pretty much sums up why I'm not a water park fan in general. The whole standing in line and walking up all those stairs in your wet bathing suit just isn't my idea of fun. I stay away from all water parks, unless I plan on just hanging out in the lazy river.

OK, I am so glad that a few of you agree that Fantasmic is just completely random.

I saw it for the first time and just burst out LAUGHING when Pocohontas appeared! It was just totally bizarre and kind of hysterical the way she towers over the whole thing and... why???

I still really enjoyed the show for all of its kitsch and spectacle. I'll definitely check it out again when I return this September, but I might be just as confused about why it was put together the way it was.

I would rather have Peter Pan over Pocahontas myself, but since my little sister is a huge Pocahontas fan, seeing her face when it appeared was enough reason to have it for me. I think it was an attempt to add more new characters to the show.
Also, i'm glad i'm not the only one that doesn't really think TSM and Buzz Lightyear's ride really compare. Honestly, the only thing they have in common is that it's Toy Story, and that you shoot stuff. The theme and effects are completly different. It's like comparing It's a Small World to POTC.
