So I recently got back from the wolrd and thought I would share with anyone who cares to know som things I liked and didnt like whille I was down there.
In Magic kingdom Everything was pretty good. I am still excited for fantaslyland though. I am going to disneyland next summer for the first time so by the next time I return everything should be completed. Brer rabbit wasnt bouncing this time around, but I noticed thunder mountain looked much better. Not much to report here.
Epcot was a really rainy dayso crowds were down. I noticed without test track it seemed empty. Figment needs to be re-done...it really just is an annoying ride. soarins screen looked blurry to me. The living seas was good and the angler fish was moving again? I havent seen it moving since 2007? but that was a plus. countries were good and fireworks amazing as usual.
Hollywood studios were fun but it was the hottest day. Tower of terror was the best Drop sequence I have ever had. Rockn rollercoaster was good but seemed very rough and bumpy? maybe time for track maintenance. Toy Story mania was so fun. I did american Idol for the first time and Really enjoyed it. I also auditioned and almost made it! which was cool. I think its time for LMA to go. there is huge potential for more. maybe keep some of new york streets but get ride of most and re-do the area. Also muppets could use a new show...very outdated especailly with the 3D. ANimation was fun and the GMR was actually good tour guide wise..probably the best I have had in years. There was wayyy too much smoke in alien and you couldnt even see the alien come down.
Lastly animal Kingdom. Everything was pretty good. It was very empty which was nice. FOTLK and Nemo were very good. Safari was a little dull at first...they need more aimals in the beggining? Everest was good and both water falls were woring (still wish the mist effects worked inside the mountain. The yeti though???? come on I know hes broken but the new positiion they have him in is horrible. It looks like hes sleeping. Now primeval whirl...is soooo rough. ithurts...needs to go. Kali was good but havent done it in years and forgot how short it was! Dinosaur actually was good effects wise. But does anyone know why they dont use the first doors on the time portal anymore? they have been down for a while and also the alioramus was down idk if it was fixed yet. They could refurb it a little.
All in all a good trip but cant wait to come back in two years and see the new fantasyland!!
