I was happy to see a few improvements to one of my favorite attractions at DCA. First, the televisions in the queue have been upgraded and are now contained in themed boxes, whereas before they were basic unthemed monitors.
Something else I noticed was the finale "explosion" -- it seems like a bigger blast than before with enhanced special FX and added strobe lights throughout the theater. Looks really good. In addition all the AAs and lighting look as good as new.
I'm guessing this may be part of the project sparkle plan that miceage.com reported a while back. According to Al Lutz, Project Sparkle is a plan that will refresh existing areas of the park in preparation for the big DCA relaunch in the Summer.
