My family and I will be going to WDW December 20-27. I know it will be RIDICULOUSLY crowded. What are some reccomendations to make the trip easier? We purchased the Unoffical Guide 2004. We definitely want to ride all the major attractions, like Philharmagic, Winnie the Pooh, TOT, Mission:Space, Space Mountain and the like. Not to mention enjoy classics such as Pirates of the Carribean and The Haunted Mansion. Thanks for help in advance.

We will be there at the same time. The best advise is to just be patient. Use fast pass whenever possible and make a list of thengs you really must do at each park. Use your fast pass wisely to ensure you get to do what you really want. Also be prepared to stay late. And do not arrive at the parks too late in the day or they might be at capacity. Plan your meals in advance and get a PS for each meal before you go.

We will be there too, just like last year.

We don't go to theme parks during the afternoon (11--430 usually) and spend that time at the Resort's beach or poolside.

Stroll and ahve fun, dont get caught up in the running. THAT fact made our last trip. You do get on everything, and you enjoy it all too.

What's the weather like?

What's the weather like at that time of year? We have always gone in the summer months, so heading back to the hotel for a swim in the afternoon was worth it.

It just depends. Definitely bring a jacket/coat, especially for early mornings and late evenings.

I was there in 2001, one day I was wearing shorts and a tshirt, two days later, it was pretty cold for Orlando.

I went swimming everyday, sometime even in the evening or with the lights on at night. It was great.

I brought more summer clothes than winter clothes. One pair oj jeans, one jacket, 2 long sleeves, and the rest were shorts and short sleeves. If you start early in the day, you wear layers up top and strip them off by afternoon, but, yes, you do need long sleeve or jeans most mornings and usually at night.

Here is a Fantastic suggestion for anyone who will be at Walt Disney World on Christmas Day. Take a Sleigh Ride at the Wilderness Lodge!! The cost? $30 The sleigh holds up to 3 adults and 2 small children.

It runs from Nov. 30-Dec. 30. The times that are available are 5:30pm until 10pm. The length of time for the ride? 30 minutes.

Hi!

We were at WDW 3 years ago during the week after Christmas. The weather was pretty nice for the first couple of days, then it got incredibly cold--think coat, gloves, etc.---for the remainder of the trip.
The only real crowd problem we ran into was at Magic Kingdom---my best advice would be to get there as early as possible and do the attractions that you really want to do first. We had no real problems at any of the other parks---yes, it was crowded, but we were able to do almost everything that we wanted.
Good luck with your trip---I hope that you have a great time---
By the way, the Unofficial guides are usually right on---we relied on ours the whole time we were there.
