Re-Do: Backlot Express

Hangar 51

This would be a new quick service option for the area. Themed after a warehouse of artifacts like the Golden Idol and the Holy Grail. Many of the items found here are ones Indiana Jones has collected in his life. Fortunately for us the items did not make it to a museum. There are even trinkets from other George Lucas films scattered throughout as well like American Grafitti, Willow and THX 1138.

Re-Do: Epic Eats

Boulder Treats

A walkup where all of the items at this booth are round. From bread bowls to cookies and donut holes. Each at least has a passing resemblance to the huge boulder that almost squashed Indy. The location will be moved over and now will be across from Dino Gertie.

Re-Do: Oasis Canteen

Trolley Treats

Themed after the mode of transportation from Roger Rabbit. This walkup would serve different flavored popcorn like Caramel, Pineapple, Chocolate and Orange. To fit in with the environment it will be moved closer to the former Backlot Express.

Re-Do: Dockside Diner and Empty spots around Echo Lake

Echo Lake Eateries

Historic LA area landmarks will be added to the area. Oppositely the immense Dockside Diner will be going away. Making way for more visibility for such things as nighttime shows and tree lightings.

- Tail o’ the Pup
- Bono's Historic Orange (serves orange drinks and orange dole whips)
- Big Donut

Re-Do: Hollywood and Vine

The Club Ritz

A character meal starring Hollywood’s biggest hitters like Indiana Jones, Dick Tracy, Roger Rabbit, Aladdin and Jasmine. The buffet would be replaced by quality platters, so you won’t miss your favorite characters. The setting would look like an old nightclub with cigarette girls for waitresses and a self playing piano. Things really kick into gear around the holidays with performances on stage for the seasonal events. The villains (Big Boy, Flattop, Jafar, Judge Doom and Smarty) get into the act around Halloween, taking over the establishment as well

gangster alley restaurant 2.jpg

Re-Do: Peevy's Polar Pipeline

Bulldog Cafe

The famous restaurant from The Rocketeer has arrived. It is located just across the street from the old location near the lake. The former location will just be a store front window now with The Rocketeer outfit in it. As for the exterior of the new one, it is an eye catcher, they used an old time method called Novelty or Mimetic Architecture for this one. By making it look like something else, in this case a huge dog it enticed customers to stop by, much like Dino Gertie across the way. This walkup doesn’t need any help to draw people in though. Because it’s got plenty of treats that’ll bring em in. Choose from an array of different Corn Dogs and a Breakfast Dog (pancake sausage). And for those especially hot days cool down with a Rocket Pop.

Re-Do: Commissary Lane

Memory Lane

The new pathway to the left of The Great Movie Ride would look like a 1950’s styled downtown. With faux exteriors of shops and front windows aligning the alleyway. Billboards will be all along it as well on the tops and sides of the buildings, advertising items like Coca Cola and such. Of course with the classic flair of the time period. It’s not all just for show though. There will be plenty of stuff to do as well. Classic themed food establishments, stores and even a nostalgic walkup. The ground that people will walk on will now look like a regular street, with checkered lines and stop lights and an occasional street sign along the edges.

Re-Do: ABC Commissary

50’s Prime Time Café

A quick service version of the classic table service restaurant. It looks like the old version, but it is laid out like ABC Commissary. With refill machines on each side with the classic logos. Serving the best homestyle favorites like Fried Chicken, Meatloaf and Chicken Pot Pie in TV Dinner styled trays. Plus some of the best shakes and desserts in the park.

Re-Do: Empty Spot near the former Hyperion Theater

Classic Corner

A corner store which sells Coca-Cola products and even Coke desserts. It looks like a 50’s era convenience store, for those who want a quick snack. Coca-Cola advertisements are all throughout the place, including on a Billboard which sits above the store.

Re-Do: Walkup and outdoor seating across from Classic Corner

The Ice Cream Man

Finally I won’t have to chase down the Ice Cream Man with my pocket of change. This truck will be thankfully stationary. And you can choose from classic treats like Mouseketeers Bars (vanilla with chocolate dipped ears), Nutty Buddy Cones, Ice Cream Sandwiches, Cherry Bombs (dark chocolate filled w/ vanilla and cherry), Strawberry Shortcake Bars and Dreamsicles (orange and vanilla).

Re-Do: Red Carpet Dreams and Celebrity Spotlight and a Restroom

Retro Finds

Gone are the two meet and greets and a restroom, but it would definitely be for the best. Since they won’t fit with the theming of the new area. In it’s place would be a 2 floor store from the 1950’s. With time specific gifts for purchase, like retro Cinderella and Mickey Mouse Club t-shirts. Even some classic Disneyland merch. For ambiance, the very top of the shelves are adorned with toy specific décor of the time period.

Re-Do: Sunset Boulevard

Incredibles Land

This would be based on the 1960’s themed city of Metroville from the film. Where a lot of the action takes place with our favorite superhero family. The section will be filled with an abundance of attractions and food establishments to quench everyone’s thirst. Even the E-ticket at the end of the street will be vastly different than it used to be.

Re-Do: Tower of Terror

The Incredibles: SuperMax Prison
----- (drop ride, similar to tower of terror)
----- (Edna Mode takes visitors on a tour of the new state of the art facility. She's in the middle of bragging about her new Prison tech, when the “you know what” hits the fan. Syndrome and other evil-doers have somehow broken out of their cells. They knock out a few guards and plan to escape unscathed. But Syndrome, who seems to be the leader of the group has a thought. They can't leave just yet, there's too many witnesses and they'll have to dispose of them, and that includes us. The Incredibles thankfully arrive just in time to stop their plans, to conclude this action-packed thrilling adventure ride.)

Re-do: Fantasmic

The Incredicoaster: Rise of the Underminer
----- (rollercoaster, similar to big thunder mountain in paris)
----- (The Underminer is the main antagonist in this tale. Ride-wise it would be more akin to Big Thunder Mountain in Paris than it’s sister version in DCA. Because it would go in and out of various highway tunnels throughout and not have any loop dee loops. In the story are main antagonist The Underminer has grand plans to take over the city. He wants to get into Metroville’s highest security gold vault. It’s sort of like their version of Fort Knox. He’ll be tough to stop even for Mr. Incredible, because he can dig in and out of the ground. So he could pop up anywhere in the city.)

Re-do: Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage

Edna Mode’s Humble Abode
----- (dark ride, similar to mystic manor)
----- (Get a tour of the famous fashionista’s home and see places no other regular human has been able to see until now. The queue would have screens everywhere with an interview with Edna. All from a show similar to “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”. A TV show where they talk to Hollywood elites and they brag about what they own. While the ride itself would be the tour portion of the episode, and you'll get to see different rooms in the house. Like the superhero suit room, where she made Jack Jack's suit in Incredibles 2. As Edna would say “You are very lucky darlings.”)

I'd really miss Tower of Terror, it fits so nicely with the park. But I understand where you are coming from. I'm sure there's a lot more merch opportunities with The Incredibles.

Yeah, I knew that would be a tough one for people to lose. But I do plan to have a nice homage of Tower later on. Which will hopefully keep the villagers from bringing the pitchforks and torches to my house.

Re-Do: Sunset Ranch Market

Metroville Market

The exteriors for the buildings for this street would change completely from it’s predecessor. To look more like downtown Metroville from the film series. Interior-wise it would be laidout like the Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. though and be one connected building on each side. The left side would be home to an Incredible indoor food court, with 8 walkup options. It is similar to an indoor market you would see in Boston and Philadelphia, with historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Reading Terminal Market respectively. Serving an abundance of different types of choices, all themed to The Incredibles. I'll go over all of them in Part 1 and Part 2.

desktop-wallpaper-incredibles-2-baby-jack-jack.jpg

Re-Do: Rosie’s All American

Jack Jack’s Cookie Num Num

A new permanent location for Jack Jack’s famous cookies. It would have an array of different cookies besides Chocolate Chip as well. Jack Jack would definitely approve of the selections. If one cookie isn’t enough for you Cookie Sandwich options are available. With Four distinct Cookies and Whipped Cream combos. Like Chocolate Chip & Cream, Chocolate & Peanut Butter, Chocolate & Mint and Strawberry and Cream.

incredible walkup 2.png

Re-Do: Catalina Eddies

Rocky’s Trash Can

Located close by is a walkup themed to Jack Jack’s rival Rocky the Raccoon. The joint may look like an oversized trash can, but you’ll want to dig around in this one. Much like Catalina it serves Pizza, but also Meatball Subs, Chicken Parm Subs and Breadsticks. And to keep with the theming trash themed desserts are at your disposal.

Re-Do: Unused building behind Anaheim Produce

The Happy Platter

This food establishment definitely gives off a 1960’s Howard Johnson’s vibe. It was seen in the sequel movie… appropriately titled “Incredibles 2”. It is the restaurant Vi’s crush’s family owns and he works at, much to her dismay. Because she embarrasses herself in front of him in one scene, by squirting a liquid out of her nose. For this version it will be a walkup, rather than a table. Serving Grilled Hamburgers, Grilled Hot Dogs and Chicken Tenders w/ Curly Fries.

the-incredibles-violet-loner-080217.jpg

Re-Do: Sunshine Day Bar

Vi’s Hideout

Violet wouldn’t be embarrassed by these choices. Choose from a variety of subs like an Italian, a Turkey and Cheese, Steak and Cheese and a Roast Beast French Dip, all served with your choice of Potato Chips or Steak Fries.

dash-in-the-incredibles-2-2018-4k-qx.jpg

Re-Do: Fairfax Faire

Dash’s Fast Food

If you want a quick bite to eat you may want to stop here. This place is home to park favorites that you can eat on the go. Like Turkey Legs and Handwich bread cones filled with Ham & Cheese, Mac and Cheese and BBQ Brisket. With Tater Tots as your sides option.

Re-Do: Hollywood Scoops

Frozones’ Frozen Treats

This location would serve Ice Cold and Frozen Drinks (Sodas, Minute Maid) and hard serve Ice Creams and floats. It would definitely standout from the crowd. Because thanks to Frozone, the exterior looks like it’s completely made of ice.

mr__skipperdoo_by_sirenfoxx.jpg

Re-Do: Anaheim Produce

Mr. Skipperdoo’s Produce

Based on the character that was shoehorned into the classic cartoons with Mr. Incredible and Frozone. They don’t like him, but you will thanks to his delicious treats. The walkup serves various Carrot themed treats, like my beloved Carrot Cake Cookie. Now in it’s original, much better form again. As well as different Salads and Wraps for the healthier eaters. Who unlike me actually care about their health.

4k-incredibles2-animationscreencaps.com-1709.jpg

Re-Do: Empty space near the exit

Chinese Food Box

Seen in Incredibles 2 and a slew of other Pixar films. This place literally looks like a Chinese Food Box. Similar to Panda Express it serves combo plates where you can choose 2 or 3 items and a side. Choose from a variety of entrees like Orange Chicken, Honey Chicken, Chicken Fingers, Beef Teriyaki and Boneless Spareribs. All meals come with either rice or noodles.

Re-Do: Joffrey’s

Omnidroid v. 10

Near the Incredibles Supermax attraction sits an abandoned droid. That has been decommissioned and reused as a snack walkup. Serving Coffee and Donuts like a regular Joffrey’s. The castmembers will be dressed in grey security guard uniforms to match the nearby attraction.

The right side of Metroville’s downtown would be one connected building as well. This time themed to the villains. Not to be left out, behind this long structure is another store. Edna Mode will get her very own store, located in the garage of her Mega estate. Her home is located much further back from the other buildings, off in the distance on a hill.
