RCT2 Wacky Worlds

Has anybody played or heard anything about the latest installment of RCT2, "Wacky Worlds". I really want to create a WDW park, but RCT 2 was infuriating because it is hard to make buildings. (anyone know what I'm talking about here?) So after driving myself crazy and probably increaing my blood pressure, I had to give up. So does anyone know if the new game is any less frustrating?

I just got this a few days ago and can't wait to try it out. My dd has been playing it, so I haven't had a chance to yet. We bought the Disney Coaster, I thought it would be like building the park, and it was really frustrating for me. Someone told me not to give up on it yet, that it is pretty cool if I can figure it out, so I may try it again. But for now I'll stick to the RCT2 "wacky worlds"

Does anyone know how many new ride does wacky worlds actually have?

what else it's new besides the scenery????

I have rollercoaster tycoon 2
but all the promo I've seen is scenery, like statues and differn't worlds and stuff.
But that dosen't get me.
can anyone tell me what else is new besides the scenery?

This is awful, but I still haven't played it yet. As soon as I do I'll let you know a little more about it.

I've bought Wacky Worlds the day it came out for one reason...



Epcot


WW really helped with the nations... I'll post pics of the different countries later (when I have more time). But as far as Future World went, it was definately a bit mor difficult. I spent probably about 20 hours just building the scenario, and I still haven't gotten around to building rides! But, all the stuff is there, just empty...

I have the game! I think it is pretty cool. I don't see why so many people are complaining about it! It will help TONS when I try to recreate EPCOT and World Showcase! There are a lot of new rides, scenery items, and walls. Everyone was complaining about the scenery, but I think it is pretty cool!

Most of the new rides are just recreated versions of pre-existing rides... they just go along with the theming.

Theres some new Objects, New Scenarios but the RIDES.. Such as Flat Ride are the same like the Tea Cups got a Themeing.. The Roller Coaster is Pretty Much the Same too with some Theming on the Coasters.. I don't like the look of it.

However theres one Coaster which is a LIMO Coaster that would blend in well for RNR at MGM but it doesn't fly off like its a LIM Coaster, That Sucks.

sorry, I just checked this thread again to see if anything new was posted and saw your post. What I meant by "This is awful" was because I had gotten the game in May, and still hadn't played it at that time. I didn't mean the game was awful. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Did you buy the game? And if you did, what do you think of it?

No i didn't buy it.
I became frustrated with the RCT II. Becuase I found some add on scenery on the net, and it only lets me use 256 items our of like 500 in the scenario editor. I just got mad and haven't really played it since.

You could go to far with this game, but Chris Sawyer puts all this little stupid limits that makes the game irritable.

I don't know that just me.

I bet there are cheats and codes to get around those though. Actually, there are probably some listed here somewhere. I'm going to go through the threads again and see if I can find a site.

btw, my husbands a Mechanical engineer. I saw that you were a M.E. Student in your signature line. :)

Its a limitation due to the game not being able to support that many objects at a single time. I forgot where it was adressed, but on one RCT2 site they covered this. Its lame...but understandable why they did this.

Still think wacky worlds was a mistake tho.
