RCT2 Aaaaargh!!!

Just bought this, and the bloody thing wont install, it keeps saying :-

"CRC ERROR:-

The file C:\ProgramFiles\Infrogrames\RollerCoaster Tycoon\rct2.exe doesn't match the file name in the setups.cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor"

Does ANYONE have a cluw what I can do ?

ive read various posts @ www.rollercoastertycoon.com . it seems it might only be with versions released overseas. I dont know where you are but that may be what the problem is

also when you do get RCT2 up and running can you post some new screen shots please? i havent gotten it yet and a few other users said they were going to post screen shots but havent..thx

All of the RollerCoaster Tycoon cds, including RCT2, use a feature called SecureROM to prevent the game from being copied illegally. Sometimes though, it keeps people who buy the game from installing it. I would suggest shutting down your computer, turning it back on, and disable any virus protection program you might have before trying to install the game again. If the box shows up again, hit the ignore button and the game should work fine. Hope this helps!
