Today was the first day to meet Remy & Emile and I had the honor of being the first guest to have a picture with them! Right place at the right time. Here's the pics:

Thanks for the pictures! These characters are extremely lovable, so we're all bound to be seeing tons of Ratatouille merch coming our way soon.

They looked very good. I'm sure it won't be long before the merch is everywhere.

This ended up being kind of a big deal. Many castmembers were present for the intro. My timing couldn't have been better! I knew all the Disney fans on the boards would want to see them right away so I rushed home to post the pictures.

Thanks for the quick post.

Thats a nice little set they have, better than just throwing them out into the parks or a general plain backdrop.

Looking forward to the movie. :sohappy:

Does anyone else think they are kind of SCARY looking?

I am still surprised they are doing a movie about RATS. I mean, mice is fine... I think I can only handle Mickey and friends because they've been morphed into almost teddy bear creatures... But these two... look like rats. And I have mega rat phobia. I will not like seeing their merch all over the parks for however long to come...

The first Disney flick in years I won't see... and all because of some horrifying rats.

The most horriffic thing about rats is the tail, which is absent from the Meet & Greet characters. The rats in the movie appear cute, you'll want to hug them if you see the movie. Although I'm not too sure about the live rats.... :lookaroun

Where abouts is the meet and greet? And if the movie goes well, I wouldn't be surprised to see them with a residence at the France Pavilion in World Showcase.

I thought the same thing....my friend has a phobia of rats and if I ever took her to meet Remy and Emile...she'd kill me.....unless she dies first :lookaroun

Ummm....he has a tail in the pic. It is wrapped up close to the huggable body that everyone is talking about. If he didn't have a tail he would be a hamster. He is a RAT!!!

We used to have a rat for a pet. He was very lovable and our cat and the rat played together.

SGT623-Thanks for the pics. They were great and now we can't wait to get there and seem them. Hopefully they will still be there in Feb. 08:wave:

They should be there for awhile....so whoever asked about September.... I'm pretty sure they'll still be there. I don't believe any animated movies will be coming out anytime soon to incorporate into the Animation attraction. The Incredibles are STILL there and they have huge lines all the time.

The lines for Ratatouille were long as hell, too. A lot of kids know who they are and throughout the park they see posters and they can actually pronounce the name correctly :) . I think this movie will be a hit.
