Never enough boat rides!

1 LwtL - classic EPCOT fare, and thus wins by default
2 Jungle Cruise - I would love this even without a skipper. Comedy skippers are really just the first 'Under New Management' overlay of any Disney attraction.
3 Riverboat. Sublime classic Disney. A gorgeous homage to the America when water, not cars, shaped its transport, people, imagery and literature. May this love letter of a ride last forever.
4 Pirates. The non-neutered version would take top spot.
5 Small World. I could ride this all day long, and with the inexplainable back-ups near the end, sometimes I pretty much do.
6 Mexico boats - I ignore the fowl and ride El Rio del Tiempo. Underrated since forty years.
7 Kali. Here because of the queue, one of the best ever. I walk it like a museum. The ride itself is lame. Should have focused on making it fun instead of on teaching a lesson.
8 Na'vi. They knew how to make a good classic Disney ride, but not how to make it a great one. Still mostly sympathetic to this one
9 Frozen. Maelstrom wasn't great, but Frozen actively destroyed a WS pavilion.
10 Tiana. They destroyed a great ride for an affirmative action statement.

And, as far as PotC goes, they can get rid of all the movie references, as well.

  1. Living with the Land - one of the greatest things Disney's ever built. perfection.
  2. Jungle Cruise - way, way, way out of date but it's out of date in a really charming and always enjoyable way.
  3. "it's a small world" - song can be annoying sure, but the ride is just such a bright, joyous time. it's hard to hate.
  4. Na'Vi River Journey - i know people are down on it but i think it's simply stunning to venture through.
  5. Pirates of the Caribbean - would've been higher before my trip to Disneyland. that trip showed me how neutered this version really is.
  6. Kali River Rapids - not much going on thematically when there could've been some, but it's fun and i think better than its spiritual sister over at California Adventure.
  7. Frozen Ever After - i don't really remember Malestrom so i cannot compare it. this is fun, but feels like it has many missed opportunities.
  8. Gran Fiesta Tour - cute but mostly a diversion rather than a really must do thing.
  9. Liberty Square Riverboat - nice to look at from off ride, but a really long winded, often boring, sometimes cringey experience on board.
Haven't been on Tiana's in person yet but based on the videos, I'd probably put it between Pirates and Kali, right about the same spot Splash would've gone in.
