My brother just got back from Disney. He got a new digital camera for Christmas and decided to be the annoying one on rides and take pictures. He came back with two really weird pictures!
The first, taken on Space Mountain was a drawn smiley face near a wall on the tracks. He does not know where or at what point of the ride he took it. He was taking pictures so he could see it all lit up. It is just this big smiley face somewhere in the ride.
The second scared the crap out of him. He was on Space Mountain again, this time last week. Coming through the blue tunnel, he snapped a picture. As he was taking this picture there was this orb or presence in front of him. He saw it with his own eyes and it came out on the camera. It looks like some smoke in a formation. It's weird. I'll see if he can send me the picture and I will try to post it. He cannot explain it but he thinks it was a ghost! SCARY! Anyone know any tales about Space Mountain?

not claiming to be an expert, but what i do know from taking it in college, a lens flare is when light is angled back at the camera (natural light or artificial) and when that light hits the lens, it causes a little flare and the film records it when the photo is taken. much like when you are wearing sunglasses and the sun makes a little flare on them and you can see with your eye.DisneyCrazyGirl said:

"Orbs" are nothing more than light from a camera's flash reflecting off of dust or some other type of particle in the air. They appear as blobby things because they are relatively close to the lens, making them out of focus.

Well, it wouldn't surprise me if Space Mountain has its own haunting stories... Afterall, we all know they turn the lights on at night and pick up all the bodies.
the one thread that hcwalker16 posted before had the "411" on george, he was a construtcion worker who was killed when a beam hit him or something, and now the last CM working POTC says "goodnight george" or the ride will act up the next day...i find that intresting..
