Basically the sun is up about 40 minutes earlier than where I grew up! And it stayed light about 40 minutes longer there to. I hate it, I would rather have more light in the evening and the sun not come up till about 8:30!

I did. She wanted me in there. Though, by about 11:00 after about 2 1/2 hours of pushing, they did a C-section. So, obviously, I didn't get to see that. But it was so wonderful to witness all of that really.Oh Kat.
Congrats to your friend and her son.
Did you stay in the room?
It is a true miracle from God.I did. She wanted me in there. Though, by about 11:00 after about 2 1/2 hours of pushing, they did a C-section. So, obviously, I didn't get to see that. But it was so wonderful to witness all of that really.![]()
That's exactly what I was thinking throughout the experience. And the thrill of finding out what it was after it was over was so wonderful as well. It was just such an amazing experience. And I've been thanking her repeatedly for the opportunity to be a part of it.It is a true miracle from God.

Well... she's not saying much. But she isn't much of a talker anyways. The C-section was very much a surprise. She wished she didn't have to go that route. But she was in labor 14 hours before they got the baby out and, according to the physician, experienced all of a regular childbith except the vaginal delivery. It wasn't painful for her at all during the process because of the epidural, but it was definitely tiring.:sohappy:
What is she saying about the experience of childbirth?
She will most likely change her mind in a yr or 2. You forget the pain. :lookaroun How do you think I had 5 kids.Well... she's not saying much. But she isn't much of a talker anyways. Right now, she feels she doesn't know if she'd have another child, but that's only because she REALLY didn't want a c-section. I have a feeling she'll change her mind in a day or two. She's being discharged with the baby today.
