I have the same book. What page did you see that on?

I think if they ever did anything with a rainforest theame to it, it would be at Animal Kingdom. I would love to see a huge indoor rainforest like the one at the Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. With 2 levels, waterfalls, caves, dirt paths, and free-roaming monkeys and birds.

They also have an indoor desert:

These would be really cool somewhere at WDW.

that sounds awesome! i think this would be a great tie-in with The Land! maybe even moreso than Soarin. and if not Epcot, than definately AK!
though i wish they would have this at Epcot, and then give LS the major refurb it needs, and make it like Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN...it's by far the most interesting aqaurium i've ever been to! and i'd bet that they have triple the variety of species that LS has! and i swear, i've never seen sting rays as big as theirs in all my life! there were several things that really freaked me out though, like the giant spider crabs, the octopus, and the underwater tunnel through the shark tank (i get chills just thinkin about it!) i think the underwater tunnel would go over great though at LS, and they've already got the tunnel made for it! all they'd have to do is make it an all visible tunnel instead of having little square windows. it'd be perfect!
here's a pretty good site for pictures:

i've got several photos as well that i used to have in my webshots album, but apparently i deleted them :( if you're interested in seeing them, just lemme know!

That was actually the original concept for The Land. I forgot where I saw it, but I've seen artwork for the original attraction concept (one of those Imagineering books, methinks)

How about a Brasilian pavilion on EPCOT with a huge rain forest inside? ... U could take a ride on a boat through the amazon river :animwink:

Cool...so here are some tips...The Christ Redemer (as the statue is called), is situated in the city of Rio de Janeiro, on the top of a hill named Corcovado. Corcovado is surrounded by a tropical rain forest named Floresta da Tijuca. Floresta da Tijuca has a famous river named Rio Carioca...it is not a wide river, but it is well known here in Rio.

i think a thrill ride will work here becouse they were subposed to build so many more showcases that it makes me sick that they keep them locked away. like sweden africa and i think russia.i'm thinking of a cross breed of a river raft and land rover
