Avoid! The food isn't great, the themeing is silly (English ivy and elephants in the rainforest? okaaaaay....), and they heavily over-promote their gift shop that is full of shoddy junk. It's not BAD but it doesn't come close to most of the restaurants in that price range on property. You'd surely find something more enjoyable at one of the resorts.

I like both! They don't have the best food, but it's not aweful and I love the theming and the "rainstorms" that coome through every once and a while. It's something you should go at aleast see!

I like the food and experience, the food is overpriced is all. But as far as the difference... the DTD version is more interesting to see from the outside, and seems more active with customers and the setting of the place. The one at AK is easy to get inside to eat and has a more relaxed and tucked away feel. I think the food quality is the same at both.

We went to Rainforest Cafe in Disney Village. Our wait was an hour, but it was OK, cause we just walked around and shopped for the hour. When we finally ordered though, me and my sister ordered 2 pizzas (we thought they were small personal pizzas) but they were huge!!! You'd think that our waiter would have told us that, but NO!!! We were very mad about that, cause it was an extra $20 on the bill, and we wound up throwing the left overs out!!!

Downtown Disney is better because there the volcano erupts outside. Its very cool at nighttime cuz it has a little bit of a light show and lots of smoke/fog. I believe it the same menu at everyone I've been to. The bar usually excels the restaurant. Its a place for first time waiters but the bartenders are a bit more schooled. And the kids love it too.
