Would I still have to pay the 17$ parking fee if I want to eat at the Rainforest Cafe at DAK?
Thanks, then I've made my decision not to goI've heard that you do have to pay to park even if you are just there to eat at RFC.
The one at DTD doesn't have to time available I need for a ressie, but the AK one does. I know it's outside the park so you don't need admission, however I don't want to pay 17$ for parking.
@alissafalco another vote for calling. Landry's is notorious for holding back reservations on the WDW RFC locations and TRex. i.e. they only release a very limited amount of ADR spots on the Disney site. It's quite common to pick up last minute reservations by just calling directly. I haven't done it with RFC, but I did it with TRex back in 2012. I had a really wide range of reservation times available.[/
Thanks so much houcusechickie! I will definitely give them a call, great idea. I refuse to pay 17$ for parking just to eat there when I'm not going to the park. Thank you!!
Isn't the AK RFC inside the park, so you'd have to have park admission as well? Or is it just outside the entrance?
Get a Landry's select card, it puts you at the front of the line, I live in Houston, home of Landry's, so we have many of their restaurants here. Last time we were at DTD, we walked up to RFC and it was an hour and 30 minute wait, I showed her my card, and she said give me 10 minutes. It costs $25, but then when you go to use it on your next trip, you have a $25 reward, so it is a wash. This way, you won't need a reservation, as your wait won't be that bad.The one at DTD doesn't have the time available I need for a ressie, but the AK one does. Are you staying offsite? If so, yes. If you are staying onsite, you can park at the theme parks for free.Would I still have to pay the 17$ parking fee if I want to eat at the Rainforest Cafe at DAK?
Yes, off site. Thanks for the clarification. Are you staying offsite? If so, yes. If you are staying onsite, you can park at the theme parks for free.
Will you be in a park at all that day? I believe the fee is once per day and valid for all four theme park lots.Yes, off site. Thanks for the clarification.
