Rain anyone?

Just was curious as to what the rain patterns are like right now in FL? Does it rain ALL DAY or in half-hour showers like normal Florida thunderstorms? I've seen on radar that for the past few weeks its done nothing but rain! My friend who used to live in FL though told me June was the wettest month, and that by mid-summer it would start to dry out somewhat-save the typical afternoon Thundershowers that roll through. Is there any end in sight? I know FL need the rain, but... its gotta stink for some vacationers, not only at WDW but at the beaches as well.

Take a look at the radar for 32830 at www.weather.com.

It rains these days around 12 and on and off (isolated rain and lightning storms) through about 10. It's mainly light rain, and on and off through the hours.

I would look at the forecasts at www.wftv.com if you're looking for Orlando weather.

We dont get nearly as much rain on the west coast of Florida as the east coast. We only get rain for about half an hour at the most, some days its longer but not nearly as bad as the other coast, but we do need the rain.

Well, looking at next week's forecasts... I'm keeping my fingers crossed but, it looks like FL might start to dry out just a tad...!

I personally remember July and August being the most rainy ones... I remember showers every single day at around 3:30pm for half an hour! Then, of course, there is the hurricane season in september!

It´s rainning here right now.... with thunder too... :( I hate thunders, next thing you know, the power goes off!

nah... you don´t offend me at all.... It´s just like for me, hurricane season is more obvious at the end of August - September! From June, I consider it rain or heavy rain!

a tropical depression has settled over Florida. If this had formed farther out at sea, from what I understand, this would have developed into the first hurricane of the season.
