Rain and lack of "Progress" on Night of Joy

My brother is a music minister, and has been at a conference about worship music all week at Coronado Springs. It ends tonight with Night of Joy's first night. He has been texting me this week.

Today is at the MK, awaiting the concerts; and he sent me this series of text messages. I laughed, and had to include them here:

First one, at 4:53 p.m. tonight:

I'm stuck in the carousel of progress. Its off track and I'm seeing the 1st scene for the 3rd time!

I texted back a "lol" and waited for his response.

At 5:51, he texted back:

I got out, waited through a storm and heavy rain and now am stuck in tomorrow land because it is literally flooded with several inches of rain. Welcome to night of joy!

I thought it was funny. I started to text him back, "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow... waiting at the end of every day!" But I thought he would shoot me when he does get home tomorrow!

There was real news, though: He said that the conference will take up the whole Contemporary Resort next year. It is always held the week after Labor Day, ending with Night of Joy. I might have to go!!

I bet he really has the tune stuck in his head now.... it's a great big beautiful tomorrow....

I couldn't resist: I texted it to him!

No response!

But he did tell me earlier which artists were part of the conference, in case anyone is interested. They included: Kari Jobe, Paul Baloche, Lincoln Brewster, Sidewalk Prophets, Tommy Walker, and others.

P.S.: Do you think he should get compensated? Especially since he evidently did have to "wade" out after being stuck for an hour or more? Or does that only apply to escaping being stuck among pirate ships???

One very possible reason for Carousel of Progress to be stuck like that is due to the rainstorm. You can probably thank your fellow guests for that. The attraction still operates in the pouring rainstorm that lasted over 30 minutes yesterday and continues to seat audiences, however, the audiences who are exiting discover that it is now pouring buckets and proceed to stay on the exit ramp under shelter. Eventually, the exit path becomes blocked and no shows can exit causing the attraction to go down/temporarily close because it has become a rain shelter. This can close almost any attraction if the exits/gift shops are blocked because people are afraid to get wet.
