Raging Spirits @ TDS

Not sure if this is old news but this is from the latest Eyes and Ears:


Work is continuing on Raging Spirits, a
roller-coaster-style thrill attraction
scheduled to open in Summer 2005 in Lost
River Delta at Tokyo DisneySea Park.
Cars will propel Guests around an
archeological excavation of huge stone statues
representing mythological gods of fire
and water. Awakened by the excavation, the
spirits of these gods will cause the statues to
spout flames and water, and they’ll send
Guests spiraling through a 360-degree loop
and plunging into a steam-filled sinkhole.

I didnt even know they were getting a new ride already.

Yep. They're building what sounds like a really elaborate version of Tower of Terror over there too on the American Waterfront section. Theirs gets a whole different storyline for the most part. The Japanese are soooo lucky. Oriental Land Co gets it right every time and isn't afraied to spend big bucks on high quality attractions.

Raging Spirits doesn't sound very good to me because from what I make out, it is a clone of the Indy Coaster at DLP.

From what I've read on other sites it will have alot more effects than DLP's Indy. Besides it's OLC so you know it's going to kick A__!
The only thing I don't like is the name.
