I know someone that is a bartender at disneys vero beach resort. She just went to orlando last week to learn about all the new drinks coming to the World for the next year. No matter where you are, orlando, vero or Hilton head, the drinks have to be the same. She said there were some interesting drinks coming.

There was a BBQ sand which at sunshine seasons. It was BBQ with pickles. I keep trying to recreate it. It was back when it was Kraft.

Any decent breakfast offering for adults or kids at Rix Cafe in Corronado Springs:(. My, what a difference a years makes:banghead:

This is sad considering Rix was doing well while Pepper Market was trying to identify itself as either a CS or a buffet! Looks like Rix Cafe has some work to do o_O

Pepper Market has also scaled down it's offerings considerably but on the plus side is now a CS for the DDP so at least there is a CS available at the resort but still not too thrilled about either place anymore.

I can't think of any food that I miss - or would miss - but what I don't miss are the 1990's where the food at WDW was really just terrible - especially in the parks.

Agreed! I happen to remember when I was a kid that we had dinner at Cosmic Ray's and besides finding the food to be mediocre I remember they had green mustard and blue mayo which made me lose my appetite.

Not a restaurant item...but I miss the Coffee Crisp candy bars at The Canada Pavillian in Epcots World Showcase. Not sure why they stopped stocking them but they were my favorite. Hopefully I will be able to locate and buy them online.

Honestly I am surprised Canada has anything to look forward to besides Le Cellier and O' Canada! Personally IMHO I feel it is now the worst pavilion in WS and that's not just because they got rid of Beaver Tails.

Yes this is true and the menu's changed on Wed of last week. Some of the new drinks seem like they were going to be very sweet so I did not try any myself but my friend had some pineapple concoction and it was ok.

-The ostrich appitizer from Jiko
-The Bunny Chow from the (South) Africa F&W Marketplace
-Mickey ice cream bars when just the ears were the chocolate shell

What was bunny chow? I miss those ice cream bars too, when I was a kid more roller skating rink had those there too. It was really the only reason I went to the roller rink (besides to hang out with friends), I certainly didn't want to skate!

Bunny Chow was a vegetable curry (almost like a curry salad) served in a bread bowl. It was awesome. It was hands down our favorite dish at F&W 2011.
I really liked the bunny chow itself, but the bread bowl was weird. I thought the one we got was chewy and stale-tasting. It king of turned me off the whole dish. I think the NZ booth was using the same bread for its meatball last year. Regrettable.
