Quite possibly the worst Disneyland experience ever!

So, my parents are at Disneyland now (I didn't go because I went to Disney World a month ago), and they told me that it's unbelievably terrible there. Not only was there the monorail downtime mentioned elsewhere on this forum, but there were other problems as well. First off, the Walt Disney World Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Grizzly River Run, Silly Symphony Swings and Toy Story Mania! were closed. Throughout the day, Hyperspace Mountain, Indiana Jones and Matterhorn Bobsleds broke. There were no great restaurants to eat at, and the only food there to eat was hot dogs. My mom saw three stands in a row that only sold hot dogs. The cast members were also mean to my parents, and most of the merchandise was overpriced. Yesterday, it took my brother and his girlfriend two and a half hours to get there in an artery-clogging combination of California rush hour, a few car accidents, and people headed on their way to a Beyonce concert. I'm so glad I didn't go there.

I hate to sound insensitive, but someone didn't do their research, did they? Oh boy, where do I begin?

-First, it's called the DISNEYLAND Railroad.

-Ride refurbishments can be found online. Should have looked that up before planning a trip.

-Rides can go down for any number of reasons, including for the actions of a guest. Also, one shouldn't go to a theme park expecting every single ride to be working all day for every day of their visit.

-I had to laugh at the restaurants comments because not only is it ridiculous, it's false. Nowhere in the park can one find three hot dog stands standing together in a row. Also, if I'm correct, there is only one spot in all of Disneyland that sells hot dogs, and it's in the way back in Towntown (Daisy's Diner). Plaza Inn, French Market, and Ranch Del Zocalo are three options that sell table service-like food in a quick service style. The lack of good food is bogus and even shows your parents didn't look at the map.

-Everything at Disney is overpriced.

-Queen Bey is performing in San Diego today. According to th schedule, she didn't have a performance yesterday.

I smell a troll.

I'm not trolling. This was all said by my crazy mom. She's nuts. She wants people to think that she's not 50 and lies about her age when people say she is 50, for example.

I won't address the six current rehabs in Disneyland (Pirates, 4 River rides, Railroad) and one rehab in DCA (Grizzly River Run) that were available on the Disneyland.com website and free Disneyland smartphone app months in advance of their visit. I also can't address the weekly schedule for Beyonce.

However, I will address the food situation...

Your parents are experiencing the Hot Dog Season. In May and early June, between the spring Food & Wine Festival and the busy summer months, all restaurants at the Disneyland Resort close to restock the napkin dispensers. That means that the only food offered is carts selling hot dogs. Also potato chips.

This is known to SoCal locals and Disneyland Annual Passholders as the Hot Dog Season. It's the only food there. Bring your own mustard.

I think they are confusing the California bag limit of three hotdogs per person per day during Hot Dog Season,

If they were smart hunters they would go after the Footlongs as you get more bang for your Buck.
